Mittens or fingerless gloves?
I'm going to join the warm hands knitalong. I think I will make some fingerless gloves. I'm still tossing around the idea of mittens, but I think that fingerless will be more useful. I like to knit while I wait outside for the school bus, and it's starting to get cold around here. Now to raid the stash for the right yarn...

Hey, you could do the broadstreet mittens on knitty.com. I made them and elected to skip the mitten tops and just went with the fingerless gloves. Great for driving. They were a little loose across the upper palm, but otherwise great.
I'm making fingerless gloves with the mitten cap. I'm planning on using a pattern from magknits, since it's for worsted weight.
